About the event

Ahu ‘o Laka Island (Kane’ohe Sandbar) is the largest saltwater sandbar in the world and is only visible at low tide. It is located in Kane’ohe Bay, surrounded by views of the majestic Ko’olau Mountains. Ahu ‘o Laka translates to “alter of Laka” and is a sacred place to native Hawaiians. Join your Explore Hawaii friends on a pontoon boat ride to visit this special place!
