Hui Kokua Spring 2026 Grant Information

 

The Hui provides Kokua (welfare) grants to community organizations. Organizations are eligible to apply for a grant regardless of their affiliation with the military or the Hui.

 

Our spring grant cycle is now open. All applications and supporting documentation must be received by March 31, 2026 at 11:59pm. Click the button below to apply.

Important Information:

• The application must be submitted to the Hui South Community Outreach Coordinator no later than 11:59 PM on March 31, 2026 for consideration in our spring cycle.

• NO hand delivered or mailed applications will be accepted. 

• Any funds received as a result of this request must be used within one hundred and twenty (120) days of receipt and for the intended purpose as outlined in the request. If your program occurs after one hundred and twenty (120) days, please submit a request for approval for additional time.

• Checks will not be written to individuals.

• We will only review applications submitted by nonprofit organizations registered in the State of Hawaii or on-post organizations registered with garrison.

• Organizations may only receive a grant once per board year (June 2025- May 2026). If you received an award during our 2025 fall grant cycle your organization is ineligible to receive funds during this cycle. 

• Applicants will receive a decision by April 30, 2026.

• Organizations will be required to provide receipts to Hui South once the funds have been spent.
