Hui Kokua Fall 2026 Grant Information

 

The Hui provides Kokua (welfare) grants to community organizations. Organizations are eligible to apply for a grant regardless of their affiliation with the military or the Hui.

 

Our fall grant cycle will open September 1, 2026. All applications and supporting documentation must be received by October 15, 2026 at 11:59pm. Click the button below to apply.

Important Information:

• The application must be submitted to the Hui South Community Outreach Coordinator no later than 11:59 PM on October 15, 2026 for consideration in our fall cycle.

• NO hand delivered or mailed applications will be accepted. 

• Any funds received as a result of this request must be used within one hundred and twenty (120) days of receipt and for the intended purpose as outlined in the request. If your program occurs after one hundred and twenty (120) days, please submit a request for approval for additional time.

• Checks will not be written to individuals.

• We will only review applications submitted by nonprofit organizations registered in the State of Hawaii or on-post organizations registered with garrison.

• Organizations may only receive a grant once per board year (June 2026-May 2027). 

• Applicants will receive a decision by November 15, 2026.

• Organizations will be required to provide receipts to Hui South once the funds have been spent.
