About the event
This month we're taking a field trip to a wonderful local book store, Bookends in Kailua. Meet at 5:30pm on Fort Shafter to carpool or plan to meet the group at Bookends at 6. We will browse for about 30-45 minutes, then grab dinner from one of the little places nearby (such as Aloha Salads, Paniolos, India Cafe, and Himalayan Kitchen). We can sit outside while we eat and discuss this month's read: The Measure by Nikki Erlick. If the weather isn't ideal, we'll head together to a local restaurant. Join the Book Sub-Club group on our app for information on carpool meet up, or reach out to our sub-club leader, Vanessa.

We'll be taking book suggestions for the next month at our meet up, and will be randomly selecting the next book based on those suggestions. Be thinking of what you'd like to read next!
