About the event
You are in for a treat! Fort Shafter Hui member and Chinatown expert Joy Hollinrake has offered to take us all on a cultural and culinary tour of Chinatown…ending with a 10-course dim sum tasting menu at Chinatown dim sum institution, Fook Lam! Members are free to bring a spouse or a guest to this event!
If you want to join the tour, we will depart from outside Fook Lam Seafood Restaurant promptly at 10:00 am on foot to explore Joy’s favorite parts of Chinatown for about 45 minutes.
If you want to just join for the meal, please plan to meet us at Fook Lam no later than 10:45 am. Under Joy's experienced guidance, we have arranged for a 10-course tasting menu of some of Fook Lam's best dim sum dishes: shrimp har gau, pork shumai, spinach and chive shrimp dumplings, mochi rice, deep fried taro puff, char siu pork…
